The Salers Breeding in Livradois / GAEC VINCENT-PESCHER have the immense sadness to announce you:
the death of René VINCENT
the 30th June 2016, at the age of 86 years.
Born in 1930 around the Commune of Anzat le Luguet (FRANCE, Auvergne), worker with his Father Gustave VINCENT, René VINCENT is farming some years in Apcher with his wife Mauricette LADEVIE, then he is deciding to buy the Domain of "la Tour du Miodet" in 1971 ; close
to Saint Dier d'Auvergne in the Livradois, René and Mauricette
are raising a Salers cattle with quantity and quality.
Between 1971 and 1995, René, with Mauricette and his two sons Joël and
Yves, strongly enlarge the surface of the farm, while the livestock is progressing in number and genetic heritage.
René
never stopped to improve his farming affair, notably by modernizing the
technical features of his agricultural domain trough the investment on
powerful machines and rational agricultural buildings to receive
the cows and store the hay. His 2 sons, Joël and Yves VINCENT have
worked with René
since their childhood and continue the family farm by working in narrow
collaboration.

 wrote the 10th October 2015, through Sarah Douvizy : To find the perfect mix to breed exceptional animals ; that is the job for the VINCENT-PESCHER’s agricultural enterprise (GAEC) since many years in Saint-Jean-des-Ollières (Puy de Dôme, FRANCE). Among the numerous bovine animals which are belonging to the GAEC, the indisputable star is absolutely Foch, a 6-years old bull : it was elected best Salers reproductive bull 2015 of the Puy-de-Dôme.
